Touring to South Korea, Brazil and Argentina
New tour activities with SOLUS! In November 2019 we will present SOLUS s a part of two exciting festivals: the new Seoul International Dance Film Festival in South Korea and at Joinville International Short Film Festival in Brazil. In December the tour goes to Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a part of the selection at VideoDanzaBA. We are very happy and excited to meet our new audiences. See you there!

WORKING GRANT from the danish art foundation 2019

Residency at Seoul Dance Center
Very excited to be selected for a residency at Seoul Dance Center in autumn 2019. We have been granted a residency of two months for research and development of new work.
collaboration with kimchi and chips (KR)
I am thrilled to announce that I will collaborate with the great artist duo Kimchi and Chips. New exciting things are developing and I can’t wait to share the results of this collaboration. Due to the kind support of Art Council Korea this project is officially a part of the Denmark-Korea anniversary of 2019. The work will premiere in Denmark in December 2019.
Great response on INTERLACE
A great THANK YOU to all the audiences showing up at the exhibition opening and at the second performance of INTERLACE_traces. It is humbling to experience such a passionate crowd and we are very grateful for the massive turn up. We will definitely return to Taiwan in the future!
Premiere of INTERLACE_traces
Tonight you can experience the performance INTERLACE_traces at Taipei Artist Village at 7pm. The performance will take place inside our installation at the gallery space.
EXHIBITION OPENING
The opening of INTERLACE happens tonight at 7pm at Taipei Artist Village with the opening performance INTERLACE_infinity. You can also experience works by Megumi Mochizuki (JP), Nupur Mathur (IN) and Hyo Jin Yoo (KR), Will Pham (UK) and Yumi Moon (KR).
A new work in progress
A new production is on its way… INTERLACE will open as a performance installation on November 30th 2018 at the Taipei Artist Village Gallery. The exhibition will run from 30.11.18-23.12.18 and you can catch two unique performances on the opening night and on December 14th. More info coming soon!
ATTENDING TAIWAN DANCE PLATFORM
I am attending Taiwan Dance Platform at the Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts. Looking forward to experience this amazing new venue, to see local and international performances and not least to catch up with colleagues from all over the world.
RESIDENCY AT TAIPEI ARTIST VILLAGE
Just arrived at our studio in Taipei, Taiwan. During the next two months I will create a new work in collaboration with Tim Panduro, which will premiere on November 30th at the Taipei Artist Village Gallery .
Attending Tanzmesse 2018
I will be attending the Danish booth at Tanzmesse 2018 in Dusseldorf. I look forward to meeting new friends, colleagues and possible future collaborators and not least catching up with "old" ones. Reach out if you'll be there too!
THE AMERICAN TOUR CONTINUES
SOLUS was just selected for another two festivals in the United States. First up is Flatlands Dance Film Festival, where SOLUS was selected out of a pool of 460 films from 59 countries. The screenings will take place on August 31st - September 1st at the Knight Auditorium, Spurlock Museum in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois. Up next is Capitol Dance & Cinema Festival on September 9th at AFI Silver Theatre & Cultural Center in Silver Spring not far from Washington DC.
CANADIAN PREMIERE
SOLUS is headed towards Canada, as we have been selected for Cascadia Dance & Cinema Festival in Vancouver. Catch it at June 3rd at Vancouver International Film Centre
Another award for SOLUS
SOLUS was awarded "Best International Short" at Jacksonville Dance Film Festival in Florida, USA. That is the second award our film receives and we are extremely happy and proud to have made a work that touches audiences around the globe.

GREEK PREMIERE WITH SOLUS
On the 20th of January 2018 SOLUS will be screened at Athens Video Dance Project in Greece. We are very happy to be a part of the selection at this cool festival!
FRIDAY NIGHT SHARINGS AT DANSEKAPELLET
On February 2nd I will be hosting and curating an event at Dansekappellet (The Dance Chapel) in Copenhagen. The program will be diverse and includes work by following artists:Anna stamp Møller (DK), Emilie Gregersen and Camilla Lind (DK), Jan Vesala and Antoinette Helbing (DK/DE), Maïté Jeannolin and Charlotte Marchal (FR) and myself.
